Faculty & Staff

The Keck School faculty numbers more than 1,100 physicians, scientists and advanced researchers. Faculty physicians educate students, lead research investigations and oversee patient care in the School’s five partner hospitals. These faculty members do not simply teach medical and biological science, they actively contribute to the creation of new knowledge. In the process, they impact what is taught, thought, and practiced throughout the world.

The Keck School’s faculty includes eight members of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. Many have served on national or presidential advisory boards and received prestigious academic and professional awards. Faculty members bring recognition to the School through leadership roles on scientific review boards, national committees, editorial boards and other activities in the scientific and medical community.

Leadership
Faculty members directly participate in the leadership of the Keck School through administrative positions, through membership on the Executive Council, and as department chairs and division chiefs.
