Clinical Division
The Clinical Division of the Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) is dedicated to the optimization of patient care on several fronts. The division is responsible for the development and maintenance of best practices regarding medical care, patient flow, and quality assurance and initiatives. The staffing and strategic layouts of the department are extremely important and the division continuously reassesses the dynamic and changing needs of the community in this regard. The Clinical Division is also the liaison between the hospital administration and the DEM and collaborates closely on a wide range of topics including legal and regulatory requirements, facility needs, and staffing. The division is comprised of a dedicated group of physicians and staff who are passionate about the needs of individual patients and the needs of the community as a whole.
