Department of Radiology


The Department of Radiology of the Keck School of Medicine of USC provides imaging services at three major institutions (LAC+USC Medical Center, Keck Hospital of USC (formerly USC University Hospital) and USC Norris Cancer Center) and operates state-of-the-art outpatient imaging centers at HCC II (General Imaging) and HCC I (PET Center).

Among our more than 65 full-time faculty, all major subspecialties within the discipline of Radiology are represented, including Abdominal Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Vascular & Interventional Radiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Neuroradiology, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatric and Women’s Imaging.

    USC’s Keck School of Medicine recently adopted a new radiation treatment system that offers cancer patients more effective, targeted and faster treatment compared to conventional methods, and in some cases may be as effective as surgery, said the chairman of USC’s Department of Radiation Oncology.
