About Our Department
The Department of Radiology of the Keck School of Medicine of USC provides imaging services at 3 major institutions (LAC+USC Medical Center, USC University Hospital and USC Norris Cancer Center) and operates state of the art outpatient imaging centers at HCC II (General Imaging) and HCC I (PET Center).
Among our more than 50 full-time faculty, all major subspecialties within the discipline of Radiology are represented, including Abdominal Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Neuroradiology, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatric and Women’s Imaging.
The Department has an excellent residency program lead by M. Victoria Marx, M.D., and with 40 residents is one of the largest in the country. Fellowships are offered in most of the subspecialty areas above including ACGME approved programs in Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology. Given the nature of the 3 hospitals staffed by the Department of Radiology at USC, ours is a truly diverse environment, serving the indigent in large numbers at LAC+USC Medical Center, working with oncologic patients at the USC Norris Cancer Center (recognized by the National Cancer Institute) and providing imaging and intervention for complex patients at the tertiary/quaternary USC University Hospital.
