About IGM
The USC Institute for Genetic Medicine (IGM) houses a group of clinicians, scientists and engineers from multiple academic departments with a common interest in the use of genetic, molecular, and computational approaches for the study and treatment of human disease.
IGM also draws together research across the Keck School of Medicine of USC that makes use of these approaches. This research is recognized and fostered in a comprehensive way under the IGM umbrella.
IGM is managed by the Keck School’s Office of Research Advancement. As such, it is positioned to serve a central role in research development at the Keck School.
