Craig Jordan OBE, PhD, DSc, FMed Sci, Scientific Director, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center from Georgetown University will present, “How did a failed Contraceptive Become the Gold Standard in Breast Cancer Treatment an Prevention?” Panel Discussion with University leaders researcher and representatives from the business community and industry on. “Creating New Diagnostics and Therapeutics: (How) Can Academia Do Better?” PM Session: Bedside - to - Community Translation will feature keynote speaker, Lloyd Michener, MD, Chair, Department of Community and Family Medicine from Duke University, will present, “How does Healthcare reform relate to Translational Science and its Impact on Health?” panel discussion with academic and community–based leaders on, “Shaping Policies and Informing Innovative Models off Care Through Academic - Community Partnerships”.
