Overview

Rima Fuad Jubran, MD, MPH, MACM is the Designated Institutional Official and Director of Graduate Medical Education at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she oversees all physician training programs. In addition, Dr. Jubran is a pediatric oncologist who cares for patients with retinoblastoma, histiocytic disorders and solid tumors. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio, and her Master of Public Health at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Following her residency at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, she completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, D.C. Dr. Jubran is a member of the retinoblastoma committee of the national Children’s Oncology Group and one of the founding members of the North American Consortium for Histiocytic Disorders. Her investigations focus on retinoblastoma and Langerhans cell histiocytosis. A frequent lecturer and author, she is an active member of the international Histiocytosis Society. She serves on the Board of the Kevin Cordasco Foundation and the Histiocyte Association.
