Overview

After completing a post-baccalaureate premedical program at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Prabhakar served as a member of the NIH Post-Bac IRTA Fellowship (NIAID/VRC), where she conducted research on HIV-mediated T-cell apoptosis.

Dr. Prabhakar earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She then went on to perform her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
