Overview

Dr. Balekian's clinical interests include interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, and critical care outcomes. His research interests include quality of care in lung cancer and racial and gender disparities in lung cancer.

Dr. Balekian earned his medical degree from University of California, San Diego. He then went on to complete his Masters in Health Services from UCLA School of Public Health. Dr. Balekian most recently completed his fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.
