Dr. Sharp's research interests include therapy of metabolic bone diseases, trace elements in metabolic bone disease, changes in bone density with diet and exercise, and the effect of smoking on fracture healing and bone metabolism.
Dr. Sharp earned his medical degree from University of Miami. He performed his residency at LAC+USC Medical Center, followed by a Diabetes Fellowship at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital, and an Endocrinology Fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center.
