Overview

Dr. Parekh is a Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Division of Hepatobiliary Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Parekh completed his medical school and residency in Johannesburg, South Africa and then spent 2 years in a fellowship in gastrointestinal surgery research in the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas. Dr. Parekh is the Section Chief for Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic surgery in the Division of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery and the Director of the USC Center for Pancreatic and Biliary Diseases. Dr. Parekh is also responsible for coordinating all of the cancer programs in the Department of Surgery.
