Dr. Lin grew up in both Rochester, MN and Scottsdale, AZ. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 2008 in Philadelphia, PA, completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency in 2013 at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles, and completed her Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Radiology at USC in 2014. She then joined the faculty of USC's Department of Radiology. Her clinical and research interests include lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, and evaluation of the aortic root using both cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. In addition to interpreting both chest and cardiac CXR, CT and MRI she performs thoracic interventions including lung biopsies, thoracenteses, and pigtail pleural catheter placement. In both the clinical and lecture settings, she teaches cardiothoracic fellows, radiology residents, and medical students.
