Overview

Lisa B. Paquette, MD, is a member of the Division of Neonatology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and on staff in its Institute for Maternal-Fetal Health. She also serves as associate medical director, Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Paquette's research interests focus on fetal imaging and maternal-fetal health. She is principal investigator on a study into early detection of fetal retinoblastoma, for which she has received a grant from the Knights-Templar Eye Foundation. She is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) and the recipient of a Carmel Scholar Award in 2007. Dr. Paquette received her medical degree from USC, after also attending the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatal medicine at Los Angeles County+USC Women's and Children's Hospital, and is board certified in both pediatrics and neonatology. In 2000, Dr. Paquette developed Mommy Call, a 24-hour pediatric telephone medical advice service for inner-city Los Angeles parents.
