Sarah (Sae Byul) Ma, PharmD., is a clinical pharmacist and an Assistant Professor at both the Keck School of Medicine of USC and the USC School of Pharmacy. She received her B.S. in Nutrition Science from the University of California, Davis in 2007 and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from USC in 2012. Dr. Ma then completed a residency in Pharmacy Practice, Ambulatory Care where she was also an adjunct assistant professor of Pharmacy Practice. After her residency, she was a part of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation Program which evaluates the impact of integrating clinical pharmacy teams into AltaMed Medical homes. Dr. Ma joined the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at USC in 2014 and is responsible for teaching and coordinating clinical pharmacotherapy to each of the three levels of students in the program. Dr. Ma also provides disease state management (emphasis in anticoagulation, cardiology, and high-risk / high cost conditions), and other pharmacist services for low-income patients through Keck Hospital of USC. She also serves as a preceptor for USC students and residents rotating through the clinic.
