Dr. Thobani is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (USC Keck School of Medicine) and Section Chief of Community Education and Outreach for the Division of Allergy and Immunology. She provides ongoing asthma care to patients in the LACUSC hospital-based clinics and the Breathmobiles. Dr. Thobani is an active member of several national asthma and allergy organizations. She has presented her research findings nationally. She takes pleasure in teaching and enjoys clinical research in asthma and respiratory health in the adult and pediatric populations. She currently is evaluating factors that contribute to uncontrolled asthma for inner city patients.
