Salman R. Khan, MD, is a pulmonologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at USC Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Khan is triple boarded in Pediatrics, Pediatric Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine. His clinical interests include taking care of patients who have sleep difficulties with particular emphasis on sleep disordered breathing, and Restless leg syndrome (RLS). Dr. Khan earned his M.D. from Dow Medical College. He completed his internship and residency at Brookdale University Medical Center, and fellowship at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, State University. Dr. Khan has focused his research around understanding the pathogenesis and consequences of sleep disordered breathing in children.
