Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
About the Division
The faculty in the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery specialize in the care of women with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, urogenital and rectovaginal fistulas, interstitial cystitis, urinary tract infections, and pelvic floor dysfunction. The faculty members are all fellowship trained and board certified in the subspecialty and offer the latest in behavioral, non-surgical, pharmacologic, and surgical management. The faculty members in the division are actively involved in resident and fellow education, both in an out of the operating room, and are proficient in vaginal, abdominal and minimally invasive approaches to pelvic floor reconstruction. Patient care takes place both at LAC+USC Medical Center as well as the Keck Medical Center of USC. The division sponsors an ACGME accredited joint fellowship program with the Department of Urology.
