About the Division

The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine provides consultative care to pregnant women throughout the greater Los Angeles Area. The division consists of twelve double board-certified specialists who specialize in prenatal diagnosis, obstetrical complications, fetal anomalies and maternal medical diseases in pregnancy. The division is a leader in providing contemporary care to the pregnant patient and her unborn child. Faculty members all actively involved with patient care, teaching and research. Many of them also hold leadership positions at either the local, state, or national level, which serves to help advance the care provided to their patients. Several of the most widely accepted protocols for fetal and maternal care throughout the country have originated at Keck Medicine of USC. While the main teaching and research base remain at the state-of-the-art Los Angeles General Medical Center, the division provides consultative care at sites throughout Los Angeles County.
