About the Department

Welcome to the Department of Neurological Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine. The department delivers state-of-the-art care to patients while advancing clinical and basic science research, and training future generations of neurosurgeons.

Our clinician-scientists work across departments and disciplines at USC — and beyond — to provide the most cutting-edge, accessible and personalized care for patients. The team has extensive experience in numerous subspecialties, including cerebrovascular, neuro-oncology, spine, endovascular, functional, pediatric, radiosurgery and trauma neurosurgery.

We provide comprehensive, world-class clinical and academic neurosurgery services at the Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, Keck Hospital of USC and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, while tailoring treatment to the specific needs of each individual patient.
