About the Fellowship Programs

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology currently offers fellowship opportunities in the following specialties:

The USC/Los Angeles General Medical Center Gynecologic Oncology fellowship program is an enriching opportunity for fellows to develop all the necessary clinical skills to become an independent consultant.

The fellow is appointed as a junior faculty member (Clinical Instructor in Urology) and will have appropriate responsibilities to help staff cases at Keck Hospital of USC, Los Angeles General Medical Center and Rancho Los Amigos. The fellow is also expected to contribute academically through participation in teaching rounds and through involvement in a variety of clinical research projects that are available.

The fellowship is under the direction of Dr. Ramen Chmait, who is an internationally recognized fetal surgeon and MFM specialist.

The Los Angeles General Medical Center Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship program is an enriching opportunity for fellows to develop all the necessary clinical skills to become an independent consultant. The program is mindfully designed to give fellows the knowledge and training in treating maternal, obstetrical, and fetal diseases.

The Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility Fellowship Program at Los Angeles General Medical Center encompasses 36 consecutive months spent exclusively in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI).

The Fellowship in Complex Family Planning is a two-year fellowship focused on subspecialist training in research, teaching and clinical practice in abortion and contraception
