The standing committees of the Keck School of Medicine will consider any and all aspects within the scope of their specific charge (committees are listed according to the office that supports them). Authority of the committees to make decisions varies with the committee. Each committee listing provides the charge of the committee, membership and attendance rules, definition of quorum, executive committee rules, and authority to either make decisions autonomously, or, rather, to make recommendations for consideration by the Dean. Lists of current membership of standing committees, and administrative personnel serving in an ad hoc capacity for that committee will be maintained on-line on the Keck Faculty Council Website. The Dean or Dean’s office will survey the faculty annually to determine their interest in serving on standing committees or special task forces that the Dean may form during the course of the year.
