The 79-acre Health Sciences Campus is located three miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles and seven miles from the USC University Park Campus. It lies adjacent to the Los Angeles General Medical Center, a major affiliate of the Keck School and one of the nation’s largest teaching hospitals. The campus also houses the Keck Medical Center of USC – a state-of-the-art academic medical center comprised of the Keck Hospital of USC and the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Freeway Directions
From 10 Eastbound
Exit at Soto and turn left. Left on Alcazar. Left on San Pablo.
From 10 Westbound
Exit at Soto and turn right. Left on Alcazar. Left on San Pablo.
From 5 Southbound
Exit at Mission and turn left. Right on Zonal. Left on Biggy (for central campus and USC Norris) or left on San Pablo (for Eamer Medical Plaza).
From 5 Northbound
Transition to 10 Eastbound. Exit at Soto and turn left. Left on Alcazar. Left on San Pablo.
From 101 Southbound
Transition to 10 Eastbound. Exit at State/Soto. Proceed across State onto onramp, and bear right to exit at Soto. Turn left. Left on Alcazar. Left on San Pablo.
From 710 North or Southbound
Transition to 10 Westbound. Exit at Soto and turn right. Left on Alcazar. Left on San Pablo.
From Huntington Drive
(Pasadena, West San Gabriel Valley)
Follow Huntington westbound until it divides into Mission Rd. and Soto St. Bear left onto Soto and proceed to Alcazar. Turn right. Left on San Pablo.

Intercampus Health Sciences Campus (HSC) – Union Station – USC University Park Campus (UPC)
A shuttle service is provided Monday through Friday beginning at 7 a.m. and ending at 10 p.m. The shuttle meets passengers on San Pablo near the corner of Eastlake (HSC), and drops passengers off 34th Street at McClintock (UPC). All departures from HSC stop at Union Station. The shuttle travels every half hour between the campuses. The shuttle schedule changes during university breaks.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
Operates Monday through Friday, 8:35 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shuttle departs from the front entrance of CHLA beginning at 8:35 a.m. The last tram leaves CHLA at 4 p.m. Tram departs HSC at the Shipping Dock (Biggy Street) between USC Norris and Keith Administration Bldg.(KAM) beginning at 9 a.m. Last tram leaves HSC at 5 p.m.

Soto Street Building
Operates Monday through Friday, 6:24 a.m. to 7 p.m. The shuttle stops at the front entrance of Soto 1 and on San Pablo near the corner of Eastlake (HSC).
Union Station
Operates Monday through Friday, holidays excluded, 2 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. The shuttle picks up passengers at Patsaouras Transit Plaza at Union Station and on San Pablo near the corner of Eastlake at the Health Sciences Campus. The shuttle schedule changes during university breaks.
Alhambra Campus
Tram service is available Monday thru Friday, 7:40 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., to and from HSC and the Alhambra Campus. The pick up/drop off point at HSC is located on San Pablo near the corner of Eastlake (HSC). Pick up/drop off point at Alhambra in front of main entrance.

Freeway Directions
From San Bernandino County and the San Gabriel Valley
Take the I-10 West to Fremont Exit. Make a right hand turn going north (to South Pasadena). You will follow the exit underneath the bridge of the 10 Freeway. The next major streets that you will pass are Valley Blvd. and Mission Street. After crossing Mission, make an immediate right into the 1000 S. Fremont driveway where you will see large brick buildings and a visitor’s parking lot.
From Downtown/West Los Angeles
Take the I-10 East to the Fremont Exit. Make a right hand turn going north (to South Pasadena). You will follow the exit underneath the bridge of the 10 Freeway. From San Fernando Valley
Take the I-5 South for roughly 20 miles. Merge onto the I-10 East and exit on Fremont Ave. See surface street directions above.
From Orange County
Take the I-5 North Freeway towards Los Angeles. Take the I-710 Freeway North towards Long Beach/ Pasadena. Merge onto the I-10 Freeway East and exit Fremont Ave. See surface street directions above.
From the Health Sciences Campus
Go north on San Pablo Street. Make a right on Valley Boulevard. Take Valley to Alhambra Road and make a left turn. Alhambra Road becomes Mission Street. Take Mission to Fremont and make a left. Immediately after that left turn, make a right to enter into the 1000 S. Fremont driveway.
Parking and Building Directions
Please park in the visitor’s lot and walk from the front entrance (next the security office and green awning) up the brick walkway, which is along a brick building to the left. Our offices are located inside that building five doors down. Continue walking up the path. You will see a sign that reads, “USC/IPR” outside the entrance. Enter through the fifth entrance on your left, make a right, and a second right to the USC MPH Program Suite.
