Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology Education and Simulation Center is to improve patient care and safety by providing evidence-based simulation educational programs, designed for multidisciplinary perioperative learners, teams and individuals. The vision of the Los Angeles General Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology Education and Simulation Center is to provide simulation training and education for the benefit of a culturally diverse patient population. Our focus will be to advance patient safety, simulation research and leadership in medical education. Performance indicators will include content, quality, utilization and learner outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Our qualified simulation faculty incorporate the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) Standards of Best Practice: Simulation\u2120 into each of a wide variety of learning experiences, and performance indicators are driven by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA), American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), and Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) standards.
