\n<div class=\"f--field f--description description-medium\">\n\n    \n  <p>Our Master of Science in Cancer Biology and Molecular Medicine prepares students for research careers in biomedicine through a rigorous, thesis-based curriculum. Previously known as the Master of Science in\u00a0Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, our two-year, 34-unit program pairs coursework with mentored laboratory research culminating in a defended thesis. Students choose from faculty mentors working across cancer biology, inherited disease, stem cell biology, drug discovery, epigenetics, structural biology, and bioinformatics.<\/p>\n<p>Many students go on to PhD programs at prestigious research universities across the United States, while others enter research and development roles across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical
