This program is to prepare confident, capable radiologists for careers in private and academic practice. Fellows in the institution are given the appointment of clinical instructor. Our clinical service offers experience in terms of both volume and range of pathology. Fellows are also encouraged, although not required, to participate in research, with alumni fellows having submitted to national conferences, including the Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society.<\/p>\n<p>Fellows rotate through various hospitals including Los Angeles General Medical Center, Keck Hospital of USC, private outpatient clinic (HCC2), and Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. One of the fellowship\u2019s key strengths derives from the breadth of experience and variety of cases offered by having these very different facilities located on one medical campus. All of studies are reviewed on our PACS workstation and 3D Vitrea workstations.<\/p>\n<p>The fellows work closely with residents, fellows, and faculty throughout the year. More specialized examinations are also performed, including dynamic pelvic imaging, and prostate MRI.
