Event flyer

Join us for a Trojan Connects panel featuring Keck School of Medicine alumni who have transformed their medical training into bold, nontraditional careers in innovation, policy, entrepreneurship, public health, and more. This conversation is designed to help early-career MDs and trainees explore pathways, skillsets, and opportunities to expand their impact beyond clinical care.

This program is presented as part of USC’s global alumni networking week — Trojan Connects.

About this Event

Program

A medical degree opens far more doors than clinical practice alone. This special Trojan Connects panel highlights Keck School of Medicine alumni who have leveraged their training in unexpected ways — building companies, shaping health policy, leading nonprofit initiatives, advancing biotech and innovation, engaging in medical communications, contributing to public health, consulting, and more.

Designed for early-career MDs and current trainees, the session explores how physicians are redefining impact beyond the bedside. Participants will hear real stories of career pivots, gain insight into the skillsets that support them, and learn how to recognize opportunities that align with their passions and expertise. Connect with peers, learn from alumni experiences, and discover just how far a medical degree can take you.
