Faculty Development Workshop: From A to Z: How We Can Use AI to Teach Gen Z with Dr. David Diller

Generative AI is changing how today’s medical students learn and how we teach—both in the classroom and at the bedside. In this session, faculty will review the parameters for responsible AI use and discuss several examples for how it can be implemented in educational settings. You will learn how to design assignments and assess not only products, but the process students use with AI. We’ll also share current research on what works (and what doesn’t) and provide practical strategies and templates that you can take back to your course or team. Come ready to learn, share, debate, and leave with a better understanding on how to incorporate AI in your teaching.
