Join our new research-focused discussion series bringing together researchers from Los Angeles regional cancer centers including USC, UCLA, City of Hope, Cedars Sinai, and Charles Drew University, to advance dialogue and collaboration in cancer health disparities research.

Our next session Turning “No” into Opportunity: Understanding Why Cancer Patients Decline Research Participation to Close Disparity Gaps, Increase Enrollment, and Ignite Collaborative Projects is Wednesday, February 11 at 1pm, facilitated by Joel Sanchez Mendez and Mariana Stern, PhD of USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.

In this session we will discuss current work conducted at the USC Center for Optimization of Participant Engagement for Cancer Characterization (COPECC) as part of the Participant Engagement and Cancer Genome Sequencing Network (PE-CGS), as well as discuss potential novel collaborations and projects that could be undertaken by members of the Regional Research Roundtable.
