DESCRIPTION:Health & Action for WEAAD Movement Challenge — May 1–June 15 \nEvery move and every minute is an opportunity to stand up to elder abuse. Elder abuse affects one in 10 older adults each year\, yet it remains widely underrecognized — and World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD)\, observed every June 15th\, is a global call to action for elder abuse prevention and elder justice. \nThe National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is hosting the Health & Action for WEAAD Movement Challenge from May 1st through June 15th. Join a nationwide challenge to get moving\, track your activity minutes\, and bring your whole community along to raise awareness of elder abuse. \nHowever you move\, join us for health\, action\, and elder justice at https://ncea.usc.edu/weaad/#move4weaad.

DESCRIPTION:“EatWell Bites” is a nutrition education series providing practical tips\, hands-on demonstrations\, and resources to help you make balanced food and lifestyle choices. Faculty and staff are invited to join the virtual 30-minute webinars\, held from 12:15 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month\, September 2025 to June 2026 (January’s session will take place on the second Thursday of that month). \nThis program is brought to you by USC’S Healthy Campus\, an initiative to incorporate health and well-being into faculty and staff’s daily work life to ensure a healthy campus for all. \nTo learn more and register visit: https://workwell.usc.edu/events/eatwell-bites/ \nThis program is open to all eligible individuals.
