style=\"text-align: center;\">Advancing Cancer Research and<br \/>\nTransforming Patient Care<\/h2>\n<p class=\"large\">The Department of Cancer Biology is driving discoveries that transform our understanding of how cancer works at the cellular and molecular level. From biomarker development through translation to patient impact, our <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/cancer-biology\/research\/\">researchers<\/a> tackle some of the most pressing challenges in oncology. <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/cancer-biology\/faculty\/\">Faculty<\/a> investigate cancer epigenetics, gene regulation, metabolism, and aging across more than a dozen cancers, including breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"large\">Our graduate training includes <a href=\"https:\/\/keck.usc.edu\/cancer-biology\/training-education\/\">master&#8217;s programs<\/a> in Translational Biotechnology, Translational Biomedical Informatics, and Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine. Our research spans many cancer types, focusing on identifying novel therapeutic targets, developing biomarkers for early detection and disease monitoring, and translating these findings into new treatment strategies.
