Dr. Rahman is an expert in the management of patients with complex cardiovascular diseases. He has additional interest and training in the care of patients with advanced heart failure, including heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices. He uses the latest evidence-based medicine along with cutting edge medical research to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care.

Dr. Rahman has been a champion of patients with advanced heart failure and their caregivers. He was the director and founder of the largest comprehensive heart failure program in Sacramento before relocating to USC in 2017.
