Class of 2021 ServingUnderserved Collaboration

Description: The Keck School of Medicine of USC class of 2021 has partnered with ServingUnderserved, a philanthropy started by physicians who practice at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center, to provide health education at Woodrow Wilson High School and host fundraising events for ServingUnderserved. Student volunteers provide health education to high school students on topics such as depression and suicide, drugs and alcohol, and sex education. The group also plans fundraising events such as workout classes, basketball tournaments and bake sales to raise money for ServingUnderserved and patients at LAC+USC Medical Center.

When: Health education events take place every two weeks; fundraising events take place twice a year
