Our residents encounter conditions most trainees only read about in textbooks. Two half-days of lectures each week cover basic science, medical and surgical dermatology, dermatopathology, cosmetics, cutaneous oncology, and pediatrics. Beyond the clinic, our residents staff Camp Wonder, a weeklong camp for children with serious skin diseases. Training is primarily based at LA General Medical Center, with nearly 39,000 inpatient discharges, 150,000 emergency visits, and 1 million ambulatory visits per year.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"line fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"30\" data-lineheight=\"45px\">How to Apply<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We accept applications <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aamc.org\/services\/eras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">through ERAS<\/a> and participate in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nrmp.org\/\">NRMP<\/a>.
