Clubs & Organizations

At the Keck School of Medicine, students can participate in over 30 clubs and organizations. Get involved with your fellow students and pursue your academic or extra-curricular interests. Clubs include specialty interest groups, humanities groups, athletics/sporting groups, governance and advocacy groups, cultural groups and community service groups.

Student Journal Club

Meets monthly with a faculty advisor to discuss a clinically important study from medical literature. Each meeting provides opportunities to further develop skills in presenting and discussing medical research in a small group setting.

Graduate Student Government

The GSG mission is to enhance the University of Southern California graduate and professional student experience by serving as the face of the student body. To accomplish this, GSG is responsible for managing student resources efficiently, providing a voice for the student community, building a community that fosters interdisciplinary exchanges, and informing students about their rights, resources and opportunities.

KSOM Surf Club

For students who love the beach, ocean and surfing. The club provides lessons, free surf clinics, and surfboards to students interested in learning, and organize beach trips for those who already know how to surf!

American Medical Student Association

Supports Keck students through events that explore different topics in medicine that range from health policy to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender topics. The American Medical Student Association also holds annual fundraiser events to help support and collaborate with other student interest groups.
