Public Speaking Workshop – Virtual Session
Possessing effective communication skills is a critical component to helping us advance in our organization, grow as a current or future leader, and convey complex data and information associated with our research. While we may recognize the necessity of effective communication, there are often lingering questions about how we can best develop those skills. For instance, we may ask ourselves:Â
- What is the secret to delivering an engaging speech that motivates the masses and inspires people to take action?Â
- How can I speak with confidence in a crowded virtual or physical room?Â
- Where do I start on my public speaking journey when I am unclear on how to tell my story?Â
Sound familiar? Well, you are in luck because The Graduate Student Government (GSG) is ready to address those questions and more during the upcoming Public Speaking Workshop on Tuesday, March 28 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. This virtual session will provide you with an opportunity to connect with other USC graduate students from across the university, build your Trojan network, and develop your public speaking skills in a supportive environment. Plus, participants will have a chance to win great prizes! Â
Complete the registration form and pre-event survey today for your chance to shape the direction of the workshop and ensure it meets your communication needs.Â
