Dr. Martel joined the distinguished cancer physicians, researchers and educators who practice at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and Hospital in July 2011. Her clinical interests include hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine. Dr. Martel's research interests include treatment of breast and GU cancers. She is currently practicing at Keck Medicine of USC- Pasadena.

Dr. Martel earned her medical degree from Keck School of Medicine of USC. She then went on to complete her PhD in Physiology, followed by a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center, where she served as chief fellow.
