Overview

Dr. Daniel Im is a pediatric critical care (PICU) attending at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California (LAC+USC) Medical Center. After completing his undergraduate studies at UCLA, he went on to receive his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his pediatric residency and chief resident year at LAC+USC Medical Center. He subsequently did his fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).

He is passionate about caring for the underserved children and families of Los Angeles. His research interests include: (1) Using machine learning algorithms to make clinically relevant predictions in the PICU and (2) Pediatric trauma.
