Before joining the USC/CHMC Family Medicine Residency, Gregory R. Lewis, MD, FAAFP, was the Associate Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. He is board certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Lewis’ special areas of interest include preventive medicine, maternity care and hospital medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He served as President of the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians from 2011 – 2012. He speaks both English and Spanish.

Dr. Lewis completed his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his residency training at St. Luke’s Family Medicine Residency Program in Milwaukee with an emphasis on Adolescent Health. He then completed his fellowship in Faculty Development from the University of Arizona – College of Medicine.
