Peter John Roffey, MD

Dr Roffey received a BA in chemistry from Occidental College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in anesthesiology. Following his residency, Dr. Roffey stayed on in the department as an assistant professor of anesthesia.

His interests include anesthesia for high-risk oncology patients, cardiothoracic anesthesia, critical care medicine and palliative care, and pain management.

He is currently director of the Division of Thoracic-Foregut Anesthesia and associate director of the Intensive Care Unit at Kenneth Norris, Jr. Hospital.
