Rachel E. Lefebvre, MD, is an assistant professor of clinical orthopaedic surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Lefebvre is an orthopaedic hand surgeon who specializes in the treatment of hand and wrist injuries, arthritis and post-traumatic reconstruction. She has a special interest in brachial plexus injury, peripheral nerve disorders and microvascular reconstruction of the
upper extremity.

Dr. Lefebvre graduated from Harvard College in Cambridge, MA, with a BA in biochemical sciences with honors and from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, with an MD, cum laude. She completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and completed a hand and microvascular fellowship in the USC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center.

Her philosophy is to treat patients with compassion and to partner with them, moving toward the shared goal of optimized function and wellness. Dr. Lefebvre is actively involved in teaching as well as scientific research focusing on hand and wrist trauma, peripheral nerve injury, brachial plexus disorders and microvascular reconstruction of the upper extremity.
