Enrique Trigo is a Clinical Project Manager at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He earned his medical degree from the Benemerita Universidad de Puebla, Mexico and was a practicing physician in his native country prior to immigrating to the United States in 1993 and joining the Department of Medicine at USC as a Research Associate. He then became a Clinical Research Coordinator and he has coordinated several clinical research studies focused on the etiology, genetics, pathogenesis and prevention of Gestational Diabetes and Diabetes type 2.
In addition to coordinating clinical research studies, Dr. Trigo also performs clinical procedures such as OGTT (Oral Glucose Tolerance Test) IVGTT (Intravenous Glucose Tolerance Test), and Glucose Clamp Testing which is used for quantifying insulin secretion and resistance.
A native of Puebla, Mexico, he enjoys listening to music and spending time with his family.
