Overview

Dr. Geiseler has been a prominent clinician and educator in the Infectious Diseases Division for many years. He consistently maintains a sizable caseload of consultation patients at Keck Hospital of USC, a portion of which serves as a teaching service for clinical fellows. At Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, Dr. Geiseler is able to tirelessly prepare fellows in the practice of Infectious Disease consultation for such frequently complex patients as those with associated oncologic, transplant-related and orthopedic problems.

In addition to inpatient consultation, Dr. Geiseler maintains an ongoing interest in emporiatrics (travel medicine) as well as the evaluation of patients with fever of unknown origin.
