Victoria Dunn, MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG

Victoria Dunn MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine and joined the Keck School of Medicine in 2015. Dr. Dunn received her medical training at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom and completed her residency as part of the Northumbria Vocational Training Scheme.
Before relocating to the United States, Dr. Dunn worked in primary care in Newcastle in the UK for six years with most of her time spent in clinical care. She enjoys teaching as well and has dedicated much of her career in the UK & USA to teaching medical students and residents.
In 2005, Dr. Dunn became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, which is the UK equivalent of Board certification. Based on her particular passion for women’s health, she has her DRCOG, which is a diploma from the Royal College of OBGYN. Following relicensing in California, she became board certified in family medicine in the USA in 2019.
Dr. Dunn enjoys medical student education, currently teaching and mentoring first-year medical students in PPM, she lectures on the FM clerkship and is also course director for the fourth year selective in college health. She loves coaching students applying to FM residency. Dr. Dunn serves on the Medical Education Curriculum Committee, the IRB, and the Keck Human Rights Clinic. In 2016, Dr. Dunn was awarded the Outstanding Teaching in Professionalism and the Practice of Medicine from the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She is currently furthering her teaching skills by pursuing a master’s degree in academic medicine.
