 \n  <p>Welcome to the Trojan Family! Once you join our family, you become part of a network that is lifelong and worldwide, and the Keck School\u2019s alumni association\u2014the Salerni Collegium Alumni Association\u2014is one of the largest medical support and networking groups in the nation. We provide scholarships for medical students, while also coordinating programming such as our New Parent Orientation, White Coat Ceremony, Reunion Weekend, mentoring, wellness activities, and our annual Homecoming Pre-Game Tailgate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our History<\/strong><br \/>\nThe SCAA was established in 1958 with a mission of improving the quality of life for students and all people by promoting health and the prevention and curing of disease, advancing biomedical research, and educating tomorrow\u2019s physicians and scientists. The organization takes its name from the first medical school in the world, located in Salerno, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Over the decades, <strong>Salerni Collegium has evolved into the official Alumni Association of the Keck School of Medicine of USC<\/strong>, playing a vital role in strengthening the connection between alumni, students, and the broader medical community. While its core mission remains supporting medical student scholarships, Salerni Collegium also funds and organizes a variety of key alumni and student engagement programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who Can Join?<\/strong><br \/>\nAny Keck School of Medicine of USC graduates, resident alumni, former faculty, parents, and friends of the Keck School.
