Trainees include medical students, medicine residents, pharmacy residents, and fellows from ID (and other specialties).<\/p>\n<p>The General ID Service offers consultative services at Keck Hospital and Norris Cancer Hospital. Daily rounds are conducted, and patient care plans are synthesized after a multidisciplinary discussion with care teams. Recommendations are communicated to the primary team on a regular basis. General ID service is available to provide patient care at the listed locations on all weekdays and weekends (24\/7).<\/p>\n<h4>Keck Medicine Center of USC Transplant Infectious Disease Consultation Service<\/h4>\n<p>The Transplant ID service provides consultation to solid organ transplant recipients and stem cell transplant recipients. The service care for individuals who are awaiting transplant and after transplantation. The Transplant Institute is a high-volume, nationally recognized transplant center performing liver, kidney, lung, heart, and pancreas transplant. The Transplant ID Service also provides consultation for the management of complex cardiovascular mechanical device infections in patients with advanced heart failure and mechanical therapy either as a destination or bridge to transplantation.<\/p>\n<p>The Transplant ID Service offers consultative services at Keck Hospital and Norris Cancer Hospital. Daily rounds are conducted, and patient care plans are synthesized after a multidisciplinary discussion with care teams. Recommendations are communicated to the primary team on a regular basis. General ID service is available to provide patient care at the listed locations on all weekdays and weekends (24\/7).<\/p>\n<h4>Keck Medical Center of USC Outpatient Infectious Diseases Clinic<\/h4>\n<p>ID faculty provide care to individuals who are seen in the hospital and individuals who are referred from physicians outside of USC. To ensure continuity, when patients are discharged on intravenous antibiotics or require a follow-up from an ID standpoint, they will be seen in the ID clinic at HCC (located on Keck campus).<\/p>\n<h4>Hospital Epidemiology, Infection Control &amp; Prevention, and Antimicrobial Stewardship<\/h4>\n<p>Dr. Neha Nanda serves as Keck Medicine\u2019s Hospital Epidemiologist\/Infection Control Officer. ID Division leads the Antimicrobial Stewardship program in collaboration with Pharmacy at Keck Medicine.
