Clinician-Scientist Training Program

The USC Caruso Department of Otolaryngology and Neck Surgery Clinician Scientist Training Program is a 9-12 month research track offering medical students the opportunity to be involved in meaningful research experiences with close mentorship by world-class faculty researchers.  This program is funded by an NIH grant.

  • Spearhead your own research project that will help patients by discovering cures for disease
  • Gain experience in working with cutting-edge experimental technologies
  • Develop close mentoring relationships with research faculty
  • Participate in structured didactics, seminars, conferences, and journal clubs
  • Jumpstart your career in academic medicine by having a dedicated research experience
