Get Ready for TCP: Key Student Affairs Reminders

January 23, 2026

We hope you are all well rested and ready to begin Transition to Clinical Practice (TCP)!  Please review important tasks below:

IMPORTANT! OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training
All students must complete this training before starting TCP.

  • If you have completed the training but have not yet submitted your certificate, please email it to Peter Miranda ([email protected]).
  • Students who have not yet completed the training will receive a second reminder email to do so today.  Please refer to the email from Colette Gauthier (January 2) for instructions on how to access the training on Healthstream.

IMPORTANT! Health Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with both USC Student Health and LA General clearance requirements.  Please check MySHR and the LA General intraportal regularly.  Failure to comply will prevent participation in TCP and future clerkship activities.

Parking during TCP (1/26 – 2/13):
Students with an active parking permit may continue parking in their assigned locations.  If you need to purchase a permit, reduced-rate parking is available only through the unique USCTransportation links below:
