LEAD Updates – Week of 05.18.26

Year 1 Comprehensive Exam
The required Year 1 Comprehensive Exam will take place in the morning of June 8 (specific times will be released soon).

The Year 1 Comprehensive Exam consists of approximately 120 questions covering key concepts from Semesters 1 and 2. This exam serves several important purposes: (1) to provide formative feedback on how well you have retained the previously learned content and to identify your knowledge strengths and gaps; (2) to help you prepare for the transition to dedicated study for Step 1; (3) to support your development of a customized summer study plan; and (4) and to provide us with metrics to better serve you.  As with other NBME CAS exams, you will not be able to review exam questions after the exam.

Step 1 Intake Meeting

You are required to schedule a meeting with your assigned learning specialist to discuss your exam performance and academic planning. This meeting will occur between June 8 and June 30. Submit your Intake Form at least 24 hours before your scheduled meeting.
