General Formatting Instructions<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • No tab stops<\/b> at the beginning of the paragraph.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • No references<\/b> should be included in the abstract.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Max word count:<\/b> 250.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Each of the 5 sections below must be included with <\/span>one blank line<\/b> after Section 3.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Refer to the example abstract on page 2 to clarify the instructions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Section 1: Abstract Title<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Use bold font.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Section 2: Author Names<\/b><\/p>\n

        \n
      • The presenting author’s name should be in <\/span>bold font<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Each author should be listed as follows: first name, middle initial (if desired), and last name.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Section 3: Author Department and School Affiliation<\/b><\/p>\n

          \n
        • List the department and school of each author.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Use official department and school names.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Begin each department and school affiliation with a different numbered superscript (e.g., 1, 2, 3).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Section 4: Abstract Body (Max 250 words)<\/b><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Body section titles<\/b> should be in <\/span>bold<\/b> followed by a colon.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Do not write body section titles in all capital letters.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Do not add a space between body sections.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Content:<\/b><\/p>\n

            • Introduction:<\/b> What is the topic?<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Objective:<\/b> Which problem\/knowledge gap were you trying to address?<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Methods:<\/b> How did you go about addressing this problem?<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Results:<\/b> What was the outcome of your project?<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Conclusion:<\/b> What does it all mean for your discipline, society, etc.?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Section 5: Acknowledgements<\/b> (if applicable)<\/span><\/p>\n
