Medical Educational Research and Scholarship

To move the Keck School of Medicine’s medical education research agenda forward, the Department of Medical Education (DME) houses a team of educational scholars with a variety of expertise in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. While carrying heavy administrative responsibilities, our faculty scholars are also deeply engaged in investigations across disciplines to inform our decision-making process around issues affecting the medical education continuum. The DME faculty work collaboratively with faculty across Keck to provide guidance and support in research design and methodology, manuscript development, statistical analysis, and educational grant applications.
